This year, we are excited to introduce one returning Big Read member, as well as one new addition! Both ladies are excited to introduce themselves and bring you some amazing books and fun events during this year’s programming.
Meet Haley
Haley is a senior majoring in Secondary English Education and minoring Special Education. She is involved in Greek life as a member of Alpha Gamma Phi and is an Orientation Director this year. In her free time, Haley likes to go on nature walks, make crafts, and bake or cook fun things. She also enjoys reading and drawing.
Haley is a returning member of the Big Read team and is student manager this year. Her favorite part about the Big Read is seeing all of the different ways people can interact with the same book. She can’t wait to see different people’s takeaways and perspectives on this year’s Big Read program!
Meet Elana
Elana is a sophomore double majoring in Biology and English, Creative Writing Emphasis with a minor in English, Professional Writing. She is an art editor for Opus, which is the campus literary and arts magazine and is on the Hope club tennis team. In her free time, Elana enjoys making art, crafting, reading, and writing.
Elana is a new member of the Big Read team this year. Her favorite part about the Big Read is that it uses books to form a community. She can’t wait to see how people come together over this year’s Big Read books!
Both of our wonderful team members are so excited for this year’s programming. They are looking forward to sharing awesome books and events with the community!
