Join the Big Read and the Herrick Library North Branch Community Room to celebrate the roarin’ 20s as the setting for NEA Lakeshore’s Big Read book The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, stop in and learn how to make mocktail versions of the most popular drinks of the era. The night will include, a brief history of the various famous drinks, how to make each mocktail adaptation, a chance to test some of the non-alcoholic renditions, and take-home instructions on how to make both the mocktail and cocktail versions of the drinks that became famous during the 1920s.
