Our Little Read Lakeshore program is thrilled to virtually host this year’s Little Read author, Marsha Diane Arnold. She will share about the inspiration, research and writing of her bilingual Galápagos Girl/Galapagueña picture book. A slideshow will include photographs of the unique Galápagos animals and feature the main character of Marsha’s story, Valentina. Marsha will touch briefly on the history of the Galápagos, where the idea for the story came from, how a story comes to life and the importance of perseverance.
