Folklore and Legends Night

October 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm UTC-4

Throughout Homegoing, characters exchange fables, folklore, and beliefs. How are fables and folklore connected to belief throughout the novel? What forms of belief are depicted in the book and what purpose do these beliefs seem to serve for the characters? We will also share Michigan urban legends; what do our own stories and legends say about us?
