Professor of History at Grand Valley State University Sean O’Neill will give a virtual presentation titled “The Indian Removal Act was no Anomaly”. His presentation will discuss the roots of Indigenous removal, Andrew Jackson and the supporters of the removal, resistance, and effects of removal. It can be viewed on the Spring Lake District Facebook page and there will be a time for questions and answers.
