Big Read Bar Crawl

Join us for a brand-new bar crawl event: The Big Read Bar Crawl! It’s almost the end of our Big Read season, and we are celebrating. This is an opportunity for readers and revelers alike to explore the diverse bar scene of Downtown Muskegon. We’ll have scavenger hunts, games, photo booths, specialty drinks, and more–all themed around this year’s Big Read book selection, I Cheerfully Refuse by Leif Enger. You won’t want to miss this event! Participating establishments: Rake Beer Project, Pigeon Hill Brewery, Socibowl, Liquid Assets, Kitchen 794, and Muskegon Brewing Company. Starting Location: Rake Brewing. This program is part of our Big Read Lakeshore Initiative, an annual fall community read inspired by this year’s selected books: I Cheerfully Refuse, by Leif Enger; A Wish in the Dark, by Christina Soontornvat; and Journey, by Aaron Becker.
