Dreamers, by Yuyi Morales, is a book about the struggles of immigrants, finding acceptance, and understanding that everyone has a story to share. At November’s FREE Second Monday, guests will explore our History Gallery to learn about local immigrant stories through objects in our collection, put a pin in a U.S. & World map to share your ancestry and write a story about your own family. There will be readings of Dreamers and other books throughout the evening and guests will also make some internationally inspired musical instruments. Part of the 2024 Holland Big/Little Read.
